The VPLM (Virtual Product Lifecycle Management) Competence Center of Bobst Group is in charge to define and deploy worldwide design and manufacturing software solution.
Bobst SA is looking to reinforce its VPLM manufacturing project team through a CAM Applications Engineer.

This expert will participate in the definition and the implementation of the manufacturing software solution and will ensure their maintenance and support user’s requests.

Reporting to the Head of VPLM Group Project, you will participate in the CAM Project Team and be a member of the IT VPLM Competence Center.
Your key tasks will be to analyze requirements from our production site and contribute actively to implement various NC solutions.
• Extend the current integrated CAD/CAM based on CATIA V5 solution.
• Lead the implementation of new technology into the CAM process to optimize throughput of data to the plant floor for machining. 
• Participate to the definition and deployment of NC simulation software.
• Develop and maintain post-processor and controller-emulator.
You also will have to participate in the creation of methodology, metrics and documentations for the user training.
You will be involved in a very large scope of manufacturing process which include Milling, Turning, Laser cutting, Sheet metal from programming and simulation office to the shop floor documentation.

You have an Education in mechanical engineering (BS/HES) with demonstrated capabilities in manufacturing solution and computer science.
You have at least 3 to 5 years working experience with CATIA. Your deep knowledge of the manufacturing processes of the mechanical industry is ideally completed with an experience in implementing CAM solutions according to user’s requirements.
A thorough understanding of post-processor development technology (IMS is an asset), and programming languages is mandatory.
You master English and French. German is an asset.
